Overview
Thrum is a relationship wellness app for couples. The product is built around trust, so we try to be clear about what information we collect, why we use it, and what choices you have.
This policy applies to Thrum's website, app, waitlist, support channels, and related services operated by Thrum LLC.
Information We Collect
- Account information, such as your name, email address, login details, and account settings.
- Preferences you set in the app, including notification choices and product settings.
- Support messages and other information you choose to send us.
- Wearable data, if you choose to connect a supported wearable integration.
- Calendar information, if you choose to connect a calendar integration.
- Relationship context you provide or create in the app, such as partner connection status, shared check-ins, notes, and interaction history.
- App interaction data, such as feature usage, diagnostics, performance data, and error logs.
- Subscription and account status, including purchase, trial, renewal, or cancellation information.
How We Use Information
- Operate the service, including accounts, partner connections, integrations, and subscriptions.
- Generate relationship cues, summaries, and wellness insights within the app.
- Personalize Thrum based on your preferences, connected data, and relationship context.
- Improve reliability, usability, and product quality.
- Respond to support requests and communicate about service-related issues.

Integrations & AI Features
Wearable and calendar integrations are optional. If you connect them, Thrum may process that information to provide relationship cues and wellness insights within the app. You can disconnect integrations when you no longer want Thrum to receive new information from them.
Some Thrum features may use AI to create cues, summaries, or suggestions. Those features may use contextual information from your account, relationship activity, preferences, wearable data, and calendar data when needed to provide the feature. AI-generated content can be imperfect, so it should be treated as supportive context, not professional medical, mental health, legal, or financial advice.
Thrum does not sell your personal information.
Sharing
We do not sell personal information. We may share limited information with service providers that help us run Thrum, such as hosting, storage, analytics, customer support, payment processing, email delivery, security, and app infrastructure providers.
We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect users or the service, to investigate misuse, or as part of a business transaction such as a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
Data & Privacy Controls
You can update some account settings in the app and disconnect optional integrations. You can also contact us for help accessing, correcting, or deleting account information.
If you request deletion, we will take reasonable steps to delete or de-identify personal information associated with your account. Some records may be retained when needed for billing, security, fraud prevention, legal compliance, backups, or ordinary business operations.
Security
We use reasonable safeguards designed to protect personal information, including encrypted connections and limited access to systems that process user data. No online service can guarantee perfect security, but we take protection of user information seriously.
Children's Privacy
Thrum is not intended for children under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18. If you believe a child has provided personal information to Thrum, please contact us.
Changes To This Policy
We may update this policy as Thrum changes. When we make changes, we will update the date above. If a change is material, we may provide additional notice through the app, website, or email.
